Erdoğan travels to Kyrgyzstan: Cevdet Yılmaz to serve as acting president
Due to AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's visit to Kyrgyzstan, Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz will carry out presidential duties. The decision was published in the Official Gazette.
During AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's visit to Kyrgyzstan, Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz will serve as acting president.
The memorandum regarding the acting presidency, prepared due to Erdoğan's visit to the Kyrgyz Republic between August 31 and September 1, has been published in the Official Gazette.
The memorandum states that Cevdet Yılmaz will assume presidential duties in accordance with Article 106 of the Constitution for the duration of Erdoğan's time abroad.
