Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge turns yellow for children with cancer
The Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge, one of Istanbul's iconic landmarks, was illuminated in yellow to raise awareness for children battling cancer. The bridge, bathed in yellow light, created a striking scene along the Bosphorus.
With the special lighting activated in the evening, the bridge was completely covered in yellow lights.
The view over the Bosphorus was watched with interest by drivers and citizens along the coastline.
The lighting initiative, carried out to support children fighting cancer, continued throughout the night. The resulting images were also recorded from the air.
