Fire tragedy in Sakarya: Two siblings lose their lives
Two siblings, aged 3 and 4, lost their lives in a fire that broke out in a prefabricated house in the Taraklı district of Sakarya. While the mother, who was injured in the fire, was taken to the hospital, the father suffered a nervous breakdown at the scene.
The tragic incident occurred in a prefabricated house located in the Hark neighborhood of Taraklı district. According to the information obtained, a fire broke out for an unknown reason in the prefabricated house where the family, who were reportedly working at a local chicken farm, were staying.
Upon notification of the fire, fire, health, and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the area. As a result of the work carried out by the fire crews who reached the address, the fire was brought under control and extinguished. According to initial findings, it was learned that two children of the family, who were working at the chicken farm, identified as C.K. (4) and Ç.K. (3)—one girl and one boy—lost their lives.
Work and investigations regarding the matter are ongoing.
