Found dead in her car... It was revealed that her boyfriend murdered her
It has been revealed that 25-year-old Fatma Elif Kutlu, who was found covered in blood in her car in Bursa and later passed away at the hospital, was murdered by her boyfriend, 35-year-old Harun K.
Another instance of the preventable femicides in Turkey occurred yesterday around 23:00 in the Şirinevler neighborhood of Bursa's Yıldırım district. Passersby who saw 25-year-old Fatma Elif Kutlu motionless and covered in blood in the driver's seat of a parked car on 2nd Buluş Street reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center. After medical teams provided initial intervention to Fatma Elif Kutlu, whose driver's license was found on her, she was transported to the nearby Yüksek İhtisas Training and Research Hospital. Despite all efforts by doctors, Fatma Elif Kutlu lost her life.
BOYFRIEND APPREHENDED
While the body of Fatma Elif Kutlu, who owned a furniture store in the Gürsu district, was taken to the Bursa Forensic Medicine Institute Morgue to determine the cause of death, teams from the Provincial Police Department's Public Security Branch, who had secured the area, apprehended the fleeing suspect, Harun K., one hour after the incident at his home in the Yıldırım district. It was learned that Harun K., who was taken into custody, confessed to the accusations, stating, "We went out together in the evening. Later, we argued due to jealousy. When I got angry, I took out my gun and shot her."
The Bursa Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has launched an investigation into the incident.
