The incident occurred the other day at Şehit Rüstem Demirbaş Park in the Uluönder neighborhood of the Tepebaşı district in Eskişehir, where 18-year-old Arda K. attacked people sitting in a tea garden with a knife.

Arda K., who hid his face with a mask while using a tactical vest, helmet, and goggles, was apprehended and taken into custody after stabbing 5 citizens in the area.

After completing his procedures at the police station, the suspect named Arda K. was sent to prison after being arrested by judicial authorities, to whom he was referred under extensive security measures taken by police teams following health checks.

"HE SAID HE ENJOYED IT"

17-year-old Ayaz Bulut, who lives in Esenyurt, Istanbul, and was a friend of Arda K. on a messaging app, spoke about the incident. Bulut explained that the suspect told him and other friends on the messaging platform they used that he kicked cats on the street, watched videos of people being killed, and that he enjoyed doing these things, adding that he did not believe him and was very surprised when he saw the news.

"MY HANDS AND FEET SHOOK"

Speaking on the subject, Ayaz Bulut said, "The person who carried out the attack in Eskişehir was my friend. He was my friend on a messaging app. He used to tell us, 'I am going to go throw a Molotov cocktail at a party building. I kick cats on the street. I watch videos of people being killed. I beat up the children of guests who come to the house. I enjoy these things.'

He was such a strange kid. The reason for this might be that he did not receive family love. Because he was telling us about it too. He would say, 'My father beats me.' When he said these things, I definitely did not think he was serious. I even thought he was joking. Another friend showed me the news.

I was very surprised when I saw the incident. My hands and feet shook. I think he did these things because his mental health was poor. While we were playing games, he would say things to me like, 'I want to do these things to real people too. I will do it soon.'

I think he should receive treatment and serve whatever his punishment is. Family love is really very important. Do not leave your child neglected. Pay close attention to their circle of friends. They should pay close attention to their social media usage," he said.
