Drug and group sex confession had arrived: Mehmet Akif Ersoy also revealed who he used drugs with!

Former Habertürk TV Editor-in-Chief Mehmet Akif Ersoy gave a 3-hour supplementary statement to the prosecutor's office to benefit from effective remorse provisions within the scope of the drug investigation for which he is being held in custody.

According to the report by Erdal Kılınç from Serbestiyet, Ersoy stated in his testimony that he did not supply drugs and only encountered them in the environments he was in. He also provided the prosecutor with the names of some individuals with whom he used drugs.

"I DID NOT SUPPLY DRUGS, THEY WERE READILY AVAILABLE IN THE ENVIRONMENTS"

In his statement to the prosecutor, Mehmet Akif Ersoy said, "I did not obtain drugs from anyone. They were readily available in the environments I went to. I did not ask where they came from."

Ersoy stated that he did not accept any accusations regarding drug trafficking, but acknowledged that drugs were present in some of the environments he was in and that he used them.

It was learned that following his statement, Ersoy provided the prosecutor with the names of some individuals with whom he used drugs.

It was noted that Ersoy, who accused an individual named A.G. in his statement, also revealed the names of other users, and that an investigation has been launched into these individuals. However, it was emphasized that no politician or bureaucrat was mentioned in Ersoy's statement.

Mehmet Akif Ersoy was detained by gendarmerie teams on December 9, 2025, as part of the drug investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.

Ersoy, who was questioned on charges of "purchasing, possessing, using drugs, and providing a place for their use," had denied the accusations in his initial statement. However, tests conducted by the Council of Forensic Medicine determined that Ersoy had used drugs.
