Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry exposes fraudulent food products! Adulteration in honey and kashar cheese

The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry has announced to the public the food products and manufacturing companies determined to have engaged in imitation and adulteration as a result of laboratory tests. In this context, serious fraud was detected in the products of many kashar cheese, honey, and olive oil producers.

As a result of the inspections, serious fraud was encountered in kashar cheeses. The identified companies and findings are as follows:

ZENİ Süt ve Süt Ürünleri İthalat İhracat Sanayi Ticaret Limited Şirketi (TATSAN Süt Ürünleri brand): The fat content in the full-fat kashar cheese was found to be low, and vegetable oil and starch were detected (Osmaneli, Bilecik).

ZENİ Süt ve Süt Ürünleri İthalat İhracat Sanayi Ticaret Limited Şirketi (Karapınar brand): Starch was detected in the sunflower-seasoned fresh processed toast cheese.

AYLAÇ Süt ve Yem Üretim Sanayi Ticaret Limited Şirketi (AYLAÇ brand): Low fat content and vegetable oil were detected in the full-fat fresh kashar cheese (Merkez, Aksaray).

BEREKET Mandıra Et ve Süt Ürünleri Pazarlama Sanayi Ticaret Limited Şirketi (OKÇULAR brand): Low fat content and vegetable oil were found in the full-fat kashar cheese (Seyhan, Adana).

ŞARLAK Hayvancılık Gıda Tarım Ürünleri Pazarlama Sanayi Ticaret Limited Şirketi (EFEMAN brand): Vegetable oil was detected in the toast cheese (Torbalı, İzmir).

FRAUD IN HONEY PRODUCTS TOO!

SEM-AS Gıda Turizm Sanayi ve Ticaret Limited Şirketi (Yazanoğlu brand): Imitation or adulteration was detected in the strained flower honey (Kahramankazan, Ankara).

HASTÜRK Gıda Otomotiv İnşaat Emlak Sanayi ve Ticaret Anonim Şirketi (HASKAYMAK brand): Fraud was detected in the strained flower honey (Akyurt, Ankara).

BAL KOP Gıda Sanayi ve Ticaret Limited Şirketi (BİTABAL brand): Adulteration was detected in the strained flower honey.

CD Organik Gıda Ürünleri İthalat ve İhracat Sanayi Ticaret Limited Şirketi (HappyLife brand): Imitation or adulteration was detected in the organic flower honey (Maltepe, İstanbul).

SEED OIL IN OLIVE OIL

In olive oil products, it was determined that seed oil had been mixed in or that there was a lack of quality:

ZEKİ KOÇHAN (Özel Ayvalık brand): Seed oil was detected in the extra virgin olive oil (Köşk, Aydın).

POLAT Hipermarket - Mahmut Polat (New Ayvalık Taş Baskı and Tad Ayvalık Taş Baskı brands): Seed oil mixture was found in the extra virgin olive oils (Ataşehir, İstanbul).

ÖZDEĞİRMENCİLER Gıda Tarım Sanayi ve Ticaret Limited Şirketi (Marmara Edremit brand): It was determined that seed oil was mixed into the cold-pressed natural olive oils (Gaziemir, İzmir).

ONAY Ticaret - Sabri Akın (Ayvalık Kooperatif brand): It was determined that low-quality olive oil and seed oil were mixed into the early harvest cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil (Nilüfer, Bursa).
