He was leading the IMM investigations; Police Chief Dulkadir sent out of the city with a second appointment
Police Chief Dulkadir, whose appointment to Başakşehir while leading the IMM investigations sparked controversy, has been reassigned to Mersin before even starting his new post.
Hakan Dulkadir, the former head of the Istanbul Police Department's Financial Crimes Investigation Branch, who was recently appointed to the Başakşehir District Police Department by the Istanbul Governor's Office, has been reassigned out of the province by a second decision.
Following the inter-provincial summer appointments carried out by the General Directorate of Security, changes were also made within the Istanbul Police Department.
It has been learned that Dulkadir, whose removal from his post as head of the Financial Crimes Investigation Branch—where he was conducting investigations into the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM)—had been a subject of debate, was reassigned to Mersin today before he could even begin his new role. The notification was served to Dulkadir today.
