Human smuggling operation: 2 Turkish organizers arrested
In the Kırkağaç district of Manisa, 44 Afghan nationals attempting to be smuggled abroad and 2 Turkish organizers were apprehended. While deportation procedures for the Afghan nationals have begun, the 2 Turkish organizers were arrested by the court and sent to prison.
Manisa Provincial Gendarmerie Command KOM Branch Directorate and Kırkağaç District Gendarmerie Command teams conducted an operation against human smuggling.
During the operation, 44 Afghan nationals attempting to be smuggled abroad and 2 Turkish organizers were apprehended.

On the other hand, within the scope of the operation, an inflatable boat, 2 boat motors, 2 fuel tanks, 6 boat pumps, and an unlicensed hunting rifle inside another vehicle were seized.
The individuals identified as organizers, M.Y. and M.T.G., were arrested and sent to prison, while deportation procedures for the Afghan nationals have been initiated.
