Icy road causes driver to lose control: 6 injured
In an accident that occurred this morning at the Terminal Interchange on Alparslan Türkeş Boulevard in Kırıkkale, a car driven by Mehmet Çalışkan lost control due to icy road conditions and struck the barriers. Meanwhile, a car driven by Aslıhan Pehlivanlı and a minibus driven by Hacı Gündoğdu, both coming from behind, collided with the crashed car. 6 people were injured in the accident.

The accident occurred in the morning hours at the Terminal Interchange on Alparslan Türkeş Boulevard. The car driven by Mehmet Çalışkan lost control due to ice and struck the barriers.
Meanwhile, a car driven by Aslıhan Pehlivanlı and a minibus driven by Hacı Gündoğdu, both coming from behind, collided with the crashed car.
In the accident, car driver Aslıhan Pehlivanlı and passengers in the minibus Kaan Yıldırım, Gökhan Ağırbaş, Özkan Ağırbaş, Emre Köker, and Ömer Bütüner were injured. Upon notification, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene.
The injured were taken to hospitals in the city after receiving initial treatment from medical teams. It was stated that the injured are not in life-threatening condition. Additionally, the road was closed to traffic for a while due to the ice, and an investigation into the accident has been initiated.
