Individual who traveled from Tokat to Samsun to commit theft arrested
A suspect who stole money from a restaurant in the İlkadım district of Samsun has been arrested.
Teams from the Theft Bureau of the Samsun Provincial Police Department's Public Security Branch launched an investigation following reports that a restaurant on 100. Yıl Boulevard was broken into through a window last night and 2 thousand liras were stolen from the cash register.

Conducting technical and physical surveillance, the teams apprehended the suspect, identified as T.Ö. (39), in an operation.

After being processed at the police station, the suspect was referred to the courthouse and subsequently arrested by the presiding judge.

It was determined that T.Ö., who had traveled from Tokat to Samsun to commit theft, suffers from epilepsy and holds a 40 percent disability report.

The moments the suspect committed the theft were also captured on the restaurant's security camera. The footage shows the suspect prying open the window, entering the premises, and leaving after taking the money from the cash register.
