Speaking on a TV program regarding the İBB indictments, Kılıçdaroğlu stated, "I have read all the indictments of the İBB. I also had them read by lawyers I trust. These are not ordinary indictments. That is all."

In response to the question, "Will you expel İmamoğlu?", Kılıçdaroğlu replied, "There is an ongoing case. What will happen if he is acquitted tomorrow? Why would we expel him? We have no such intention. This also applies to the mayors."
