Lifeless body of a young girl found on Alanya beach
In the Alanya district of Antalya, a lifeless body determined to belong to a girl around 10 years old was found on the shore.
Antalya's Alanya district, in the Konaklı Neighborhood, saw gendarmerie and Coast Guard teams dispatched to the area after a citizen reported a body on the beach. Upon inspection of the shoreline, teams identified the body of a young girl, noting that the upper part of the body was missing.
Initial examinations by the teams arriving at the scene determined that the lifeless body belonged to a girl approximately 10 years of age. The body was sent to the Antalya Forensic Medicine Institute (ATK) for an autopsy.
An investigation has been launched into the incident. The occurrence of this tragic event, following the discovery of another headless and armless body in the region some time ago, has caused concern and fear. As the investigation continues, there are calls for increased measures against such cases that have drawn public attention.
