Major drug operation: 542 kilograms of cannabis seized
A total of 542 kilograms of cannabis were seized in two separate vehicles during operations conducted by police teams in Bingöl. Three individuals were taken into custody during the operation.
A "Narkoçelik-44" operation was carried out in Bingöl targeting individuals suspected of trafficking drugs or stimulants. As a result of work conducted by the Bingöl Provincial Police Department's Narcotics Crimes Division and Intelligence Branch under the coordination of the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, a total of 542 kilograms of cannabis were seized during a search of two separate vehicles stopped on the Muş-Bingöl Boulevard. The 3 suspects inside the vehicles were apprehended. The suspects were referred to judicial authorities under custody on charges of "drug trafficking."
