MHP Leader Bahçeli hits back at Netanyahu over 'severed ties with reality': 'Rotten words'

Describing Netanyahu's statements as the "product of a mind whose ties with reality have been severed and whose scale of conscience is broken," Bahçeli stated that the Republic of Türkiye would not take a step back in the face of such rhetoric and that any attempt against the state's reputation would not go unanswered.

Key points from Bahçeli's statement are as follows:

The base and insolent expressions used by Netanyahu, the prime minister of Israel—who has a long record of crimes, is oblivious to fundamental human rights and freedoms, and is an enemy of democracy—regarding the President of the Republic of Türkiye, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, are not only a manifestation of political delirium but also of moral bankruptcy. We must evaluate Netanyahu's expressions, which are a monument to baselessness, as an outward projection of a guilt-ridden psychology that has lost its reins, the vile politics he has built on blood and massacre, and his fear of being cornered.

These rotten words, which are the product of a mind whose ties with reality have been severed, whose scale of conscience is broken, and whose political reason has fallen into captivity, reveal not the addressee, but the deep crisis of legitimacy into which their owner has fallen. The Republic of Türkiye is not a state that will be shaken by the slanders of dirty mouths or have its direction changed by cheap propaganda. Today, what should actually be discussed is not the word, but the owner of the crime. In these days when the wave of regional and global instability is hardening every day; when the climate of peace and security in our region is being sought to be dismantled by Zionist calculations, and when imperialism is abetting this bloody and dirty game; for a terror machine that brutally massacres innocent civilians to attempt to speak against our President, our country, and our state is a new low point reached in shamelessness and insolence. Those who cannot account for the bombs raining down on children in Gaza; this mentality, which usurps the West Bank, occupies Lebanon, threatens the sovereignty of Syria, engages in regime engineering in Iran through illegitimate means, and has made it a habit to disrupt the internal balances of neighboring countries, has been condemned by the conscience of humanity for its aggressive policies that have turned the region into a ring of fire, and is now making noise to divert attention elsewhere. This approach, which steals peace, plunders security, and loots the common values of humanity, is not just aggression, but also a kleptocracy and moral collapse. The Israeli administration has turned into an organized center of crisis that dynamites regional peace, tramples on international law, and fuels instability.

This structure targets the peace of not only the Middle East but the entire world. Netanyahu's words, spoken in the shadow of all this, are a product of panic, not politics. Within the framework of the People's Alliance's uncompromising stance—which adopts the unity and order of the Turkish nation as its principle and does not bend, buckle, or change in the face of any difficulty or focus—I underline this: Our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, is the head of the Republic of Türkiye. The shameless and insolent language directed at him is directed directly at the sovereign rights of the Turkish state, the reputation of the Turkish nation, and the national will itself. The Republic of Türkiye will continue to stand tall against such dirty scenarios with its history, state wisdom, and deep-rooted civilizational accumulation.

No one can mask their own crimes by targeting Türkiye, nor can they cast their own darkness upon others. Behind this aggressive tone targeting Türkiye lies the discomfort felt by the ringleader of the Zionist terrorist organization regarding Türkiye's increasing diplomatic weight, the voice of truth raised by our President in favor of oppressed geographies, and Türkiye's stance strengthening on the axis of national unity. This is the essence of the matter. Netanyahu's words directed at our President are null and void. We stand with our President.

We stand against every insidious and treacherous operation, provocation, slander, and threat directed at the power of our state and its stance built upon freedom.
