Minister Göktaş's world tour goal: 27 foreign trips in 20 months
Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş has traveled abroad 27 times in the 20 months since taking office. Spending a total of 79 days in different countries, Göktaş visited the USA the most. These trips were also included in the ministry's official activity reports.

According to the report by Sözcü, Minister Göktaş visited 9 different countries in the second half of 2023, while this number rose to 16 in 2024. In the first three months of 2025, she made visits to 2 more countries. Thus, she has made official visits to a total of 27 countries since the day she started her duty. These trips were also included in the 2023 and 2024 activity reports of the Ministry of Family and Social Services.
MOST FREQUENT TRAVEL TO THE USA
The country the minister visited the most was the USA. She also took part in some trips with AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Emine Erdoğan, and Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz. While attending meetings on the empowerment of women in India and Brazil, she was also present at the Global Refugee Forum in Switzerland. Göktaş, who went to the USA and Egypt with Erdoğan, traveled to the USA three times and to Algeria, where she previously served as ambassador, three times.
