A large-scale operation was carried out against members of the criminal organization known as the "Daltons" in Batman, who demanded 10 million TL in extortion from a businessperson by calling from an international line, claiming they were making high profits, and sent threatening messages.

The Provincial Police Department's Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime Branch teams took action following armed attacks carried out by the organization against two vehicles and a workplace.

7 DETAINED IN SIMULTANEOUS OPERATION

Within the scope of the investigation, simultaneous operations were conducted at the addresses of the identified suspects. During the operation, 7 people were detained, and searches at the addresses resulted in the seizure of 5 unlicensed pistols, 7 magazines, 200 cartridges of various calibers, 1 pump-action shotgun, 1 cutting tool, and a quantity of narcotics.

6 SUSPECTS ARRESTED

During the checks of the suspects at the police station, it was determined that one person had a finalized prison sentence of 10 years, 5 months, and 28 days for the crimes of "Intentional killing" and "Intentional injury."

The 7 suspects, whose procedures at the police station were completed, were referred to the courthouse. The court arrested 6 people and sent them to prison, while 1 person was released under judicial control.
