Republican People's Party (CHP) Chairman Özgür Özel made important statements regarding the current agenda.

Speaking to Birgün newspaper, Özel shared for the first time a message he received from an AKP politician. Özel stated, "The AKP politician wrote to me, 'Our President and the AK Party have nothing to do with what is happening. This is something done by Akın Gürlek and the group around him. No one finds this level of action right.'"

Özel continued his remarks as follows:

"We are tired of the lie that 'Erdoğan is good, but those around him are bad.' They still expect us to believe this lie. The person who appoints a minister is responsible for both the good and the bad things they do. In a place where there is such strict leadership dominance, we do not expect independent actions. I told the AKP member who wrote to me to confess their sins, 'You are writing to the wrong party leader; write to your own party leader.'"
