CHP Chairman Özgür Özel has rejected claims circulating about a disagreement between him and Ekrem İmamoğlu. Özel stated that they will continue to act together with Ekrem İmamoğlu and Mansur Yavaş, emphasizing that there is no question of the three figures parting ways.

HE GAVE A NEW DATE FOR THE PRISON VISIT

Nefes newspaper columnist Aytunç Erkin shared the details of his meeting with Özgür Özel in his column. When Erkin asked about the rumors circulating in political circles that he had not visited İmamoğlu in prison for some time, Özel provided information regarding his visit plan.

Özel stated, "I requested permission last Thursday, but he had a hearing, so it didn't happen. I had a program on Friday. Hopefully, I will go to the meeting this Friday; if not, then on Sunday."

It was reported that Özel responded clearly to Erkin's question, "Is there a rift between you and İmamoğlu?"

Özel said, "Özgür Özel, Mansur Yavaş, and Ekrem İmamoğlu cannot be separated. This trio will change the fate of Turkey. I will not abandon Ekrem İmamoğlu, and I will not walk this path without Mansur Yavaş."

Özel also made assessments regarding the discussion of July 20 and July 24 in the public eye as dates for a new political formation.

In his statement regarding these dates, Özel said, "These are critical dates. They mark the end of the judicial year and the date for not holding a convention for two terms. But they are not for leaving the party or for a new establishment."
