Public order and counter-terrorism operation conducted in Şırnak

In Şırnak, 24 operations were conducted by Provincial Police Department units in one week against the financial sources of terrorism, resulting in the seizure of narcotics and smuggled goods. During the operations, smuggled mobile phones with a market value of 800 thousand liras were found.

Within the scope of 24 operations carried out by security forces over the course of one week, a total of 46 suspects were apprehended—32 for public order offenses, 11 for smuggling, 1 for forgery of official documents and providing false statements regarding identity information, and 2 for terrorism—and legal proceedings were initiated against them.
