Alp Er Tunga Ersoy, who took office as CEO of Sabiha Gökçen Airport in June, has resigned. The development was announced on social media by Ali Kıdık, a former İBB Council Member for the İYİ Party.

Alp Er Tunga, who was appointed to the seat of CEO of Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen International Airport (İSG) on June 24, 2024, has left his post.

The news of the resignation in question was announced on social media by former İBB Council Member for the İYİ Party, Ali Kıdık.

When Alp Er Tunga took office on June 24, 2024, he had used the following expressions:

"I am very happy to return to my country to serve on a very beautiful occasion after 18 years. I am proud and equally excited to be a part of an airport like İSG, which is recognized not only in Turkey but all over the world, and to join the MAHB team that manages this place successfully. We will work to further solidify İSG's position in the aviation sector and to carry customer satisfaction to even higher levels"
