Sad news regarding the worker trapped in the mine collapse
Worker Bayram Bostancı has lost his life in a collapse that occurred at a zinc mine in the Develi district of Kayseri.
A tragic incident occurred this morning at a zinc mine located in the Havadan neighborhood of Kayseri's Develi district. A collapse occurred for reasons yet to be determined. Immediately following the incident, upon notification from relatives, gendarmerie and medical teams were quickly dispatched to the mine.
As a result of the search efforts, it was reported that the lifeless body of Bayram Bostancı, who was trapped under the collapse, was recovered. Bostancı, who was removed from the collapse by the teams, was taken to the hospital morgue.
Authorities stated that an investigation into the incident has been launched and the cause of the collapse is being investigated.
