State Theatres appoints inspector regarding Tamer Karadağlı allegations

In a statement regarding the incident, the General Directorate of State Theatres announced that an investigation and inquiry have been launched to clarify the matter following the appearance of these allegations in the press.
INSPECTOR APPOINTED
The statement issued by the State Theatres included the following: "Following the allegations in the press regarding an artist being summoned to the General Directorate for a meeting, an inspection request was made to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism Inspection Board. A chief inspector and an assistant inspector have been appointed to investigate the matter."

General Director of State Theatres Tamer Karadağlı's remarks to artists, "If you are not going to work, resign; the Tulip Era is over," sparked significant backlash within the theatre community.
Ankara State Theatre artist Gaye Filiz Alacacı filed a criminal complaint with the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding the allegations she faced after criticizing Karadağlı.
ALLEGATION OF BEING HELD BY KARADAĞLI'S ADVISOR
Alacacı was summoned to the State Theatres for a meeting by Chief of Staff Ali Ceyhan following her critical social media post.
According to Alacacı's criminal complaint, upon her arrival at the institution, her phone was taken by Ceyhan, and she was held in a room for three hours by Karadağlı's advisor, Görkem Ali Kaya.
