Statement from the BRSA regarding inflation accounting practice
The Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency (BRSA) has issued a press release regarding the practice of inflation accounting.
According to the statement made by the BRSA, it was announced that, in accordance with decision number 11021, banks, as well as financial leasing, factoring, financing, savings financing, and asset management companies, have been decided not to apply inflation accounting in 2025.
