The Turkish Jewish Community issued a statement regarding the attack on the Al-Ahli Arab Hospital in Gaza, stating, "We strongly reject and condemn the targeting and massacre of innocent civilians under any circumstances and anywhere, especially in hospitals, schools, nursing homes, and similar places. There is no side to defend."
The Turkish Jewish Community issued a written statement following the disproportionate force used by Israel in Gaza.
In a post on the X social media platform regarding Israel's attack on the hospital in Gaza, the Chief Rabbinate Foundation of Turkey's Turkish Jewish Community included the following sentences:
"We strongly reject and condemn the targeting and massacre of innocent civilians under any circumstances and anywhere, especially in hospitals, schools, nursing homes, and similar places. This is a situation that eliminates the right to life, which is the most fundamental expectation of humanity as well as international law; it has no acceptable, defensible, or excusable side.
In this context, we support the efforts that our state, the Republic of Turkey, has been making since the first day to urgently ensure peace, and we wish for all people to reach a lasting peace as soon as possible."
