In a statement made on the Governor's Office's social media account, it was reported that necessary planning has been carried out to ensure the effective management of security and traffic flow within the framework of the 36th NATO Heads of State and Government Ankara Summit to be held on July 7-8, and that necessary measures have been taken to ensure that the daily lives of citizens are not interrupted.

The statement noted that there will be no restrictions on pedestrians throughout the province, and that controlled pedestrian crossings will be allowed on roads reported to be completely closed to vehicle traffic.

The statement included the following:

"No restrictions are planned for bus and minibus transportation (except for roads reported to be completely closed to vehicle traffic).

Metro and Ankaray transportation will continue without any issues; only the Ankaray Bahçelievler station and the Söğütözü metro station will be closed for boarding and alighting throughout the Summit.

No restrictions are foreseen for workplaces.

Citizens who will be driving during the Summit are advised to visit the map.iletisim.gov.tr address prepared by the Presidency's Directorate of Communications to check for updates on vehicle traffic regulations and alternative routes."

The statement requested that citizens strictly comply with the traffic and security measures taken during the summit and follow current announcements and information through official statements.
