The 'Court of Cassation ruling' detail in Özgür Özel's 'New Party' plan: It will not close

Journalist İsmail Saymaz shared interesting details regarding the "New Party" that Özgür Özel and his team are set to establish. While stating that the party's charter and program are completely ready, Saymaz claimed that the New Party would not close even if the Court of Cassation were to overturn the nullity ruling.

According to the behind-the-scenes information shared by Saymaz, the charter and program of the party, for which establishment preparations have been completed, are fully ready.

'THE NEW PARTY WILL NOT CLOSE EVEN IF THE COURT OF CASSATION OVERTURNS THE NULLITY RULING'

The most critical point among the details shared by Saymaz was the strategic precaution taken against potential rulings by the Court of Cassation. Özgür Özel and his team will not close the New Party even if the Court of Cassation overturns the nullity ruling. They will keep the party actively open against all kinds of legal and political possibilities.

On the other hand, the formation, officially named "New Party," is entering the political scene with the slogan "Time for change" and the claim "We will change this dark order." The main backbone of the party's program is based on the founding values of the Republic and Atatürk's vision of an independent, modern, and sovereign Turkey. Emphasizing that its political understanding is nourished by modern social democratic values, the party fully adopts the Six Arrows principles while also accepting the intellectual accumulation filtered from Anatolia's culture of coexistence as a common social heritage. Aiming to change the government and become the government directly, the New Party advocates for the ideal of a broad-based "Turkey Alliance."

AT LEAST 90 MPS EXPECTED TO LEAVE CHP

Another important claim stirring up the political scene concerns the balance of power among members of parliament in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM). According to what Saymaz reported, members of parliament will directly form the founding board of the New Party. At least 90 deputies are expected to resign from the CHP group and join the ranks of the New Party.

While the establishment petition is planned to be submitted to the Ministry of Interior next week, the address for the headquarters building has also largely been finalized. It is stated that the New Party will use the building in Ankara's Mustafa Kemal neighborhood, which was vacated by the Future Party (Gelecek Partisi), as its headquarters.
