It has been claimed that an important development will take place tomorrow following the call made by Bahçeli to Abdullah Öcalan, the leader of the terrorist organization PKK.

Devlet Bahçeli, speaking at his party's parliamentary group meeting, made a call for Öcalan and said the following:

“If the isolation of the terrorist leader is lifted, let him come and speak at the DEM Party group meeting in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM). Let him declare that terrorism has completely ended and the organization has been disbanded. If he shows this resolve and determination, the path should be opened wide for legal arrangements regarding the use of the right to hope and for him to benefit from it. Let the address extend from Imralı to DEM, not Kandil or Edirne, and let this heavy and historic terror problem be completely removed from the country's agenda. I challenge you, we are ready for this.”

CLAIM THAT ‘A STATEMENT MAY COME FROM ÖCALAN’

Journalist İrfan Aktan made a noteworthy claim on the Dipnot program on Artı TV.

Stating, "According to information I learned today, a development similar to today's will take place tomorrow," Aktan said, "I do not know the content either, but an important figure from Kurdish politics whom I spoke with told me something implying that there will be a more significant development tomorrow."

Saying, "It is clear that the historic move made by Devlet Bahçeli today will find its echo in some way tomorrow," Aktan added:

"What could it be? First, a statement could come from the government side. The second possibility is that a statement could come from Kandil. Because they have not made a comprehensive assessment to date. And in my opinion, a more likely possibility is that a statement could come from Öcalan."
