Traffic accident in Edirne! 5 people lost their lives

In the Uzunköprü district of Edirne, 5 people died and 1 person was injured after a car crashed into a tree.
The car with license plate 22 AC 267, driven by Muhammet Ç., which was traveling from the town of Kırcasalih towards the Uzunköprü district, crossed the barrier near the Yeniköy junction and hit a tree.

Upon notification by bystanders, medical teams arrived at the scene and determined that Arif Ö., Kübra Ö., and Yasemin Ç. had lost their lives.
The injured driver Muhammet Ç., Muhammed Özcan Ç. (1), and Yaren Naz Ç. (10) were taken to Uzunköprü State Hospital by medical teams. Despite interventions, Muhammed Özcan Ç. and Yaren Naz Ç. could not be saved. The driver's treatment is ongoing.
Edirne Governor Yunus Sezer, who went to the scene of the accident, received information from Uzunköprü District Governor Onur Kökçü, Edirne Police Chief Onur Karaburun, Provincial Gendarmerie Commander Colonel Mehmet Kasım Ermiş, and Provincial Health Director İshak Yıldırım.
