Two metrobuses collide in Kadıköy Fikirtepe
A metrobus traveling in Kadıköy Fikirtepe was struck from behind by another metrobus. There were no deaths or injuries in the accident, and passengers inside the vehicles were evacuated.
The accident occurred in the morning hours at the Kadıköy Fikirtepe metrobus station. According to reports, two metrobuses traveling from the Söğütlüçeşme metrobus station toward Beylikdüzü collided at the Fikirtepe station, with rain also cited as a contributing factor.
One metrobus in motion struck the other from behind.
NO DEATHS OR INJURIES
While there were no deaths or injuries in the accident, the vehicles sustained material damage.
Passengers inside the metrobuses were evacuated to other vehicles. Upon notification, police teams arrived at the scene and took security measures on the metrobus lane.
An investigation into the accident has been launched.
