Ülkü Ocakları Chairman issues ‘communications faculty’ directive: A new campaign following the ‘154’ list

Lawyers for the MHP had submitted a petition to the court during the first hearing of the trial regarding the murder of Sinan Ateş, the former chairman of the Ülkü Ocakları who was killed in an armed attack, requesting to participate in the proceedings.

It was revealed that the details of the petition showed the MHP had requested that 154 individuals, who had spoken, reported, or commented on the Sinan Ateş murder, be heard in the Ateş trial, claiming they were “trying to discredit the MHP.”

MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli also displayed this list in a statement he made today, saying, "When the day comes, this file will also be put into action."

‘COMMUNICATIONS FACULTY’ DIRECTIVE CAME AFTER BAHÇELİ'S STATEMENT

Following the list announced by Devlet Bahçeli, Ülkü Ocakları Hatay Provincial Chairman Alihan Döner shared a video on his social media account and issued a call.

In the video he recorded in front of the faculty, Alihan Döner stated the following:

"In the words of our wise leader Mr. Devlet Bahçeli, 'We believe that it is a national duty for Turkish youth to choose communications faculties in order to cleanse Turkey of journalists and commentators who are stuck in foreign and degenerate ideologies.'"
