In Amasya, an individual tied their dog to the back of a pickup truck with a rope and dragged it.

In the village of Ayrancı in the Suluova district, an unidentified person dragged a dog for kilometers after tying it with a rope to the back of their pickup truck with license plate 05 ACK 836.

A motorcycle rider named Ü.B., who witnessed the incident, recorded the events with their mobile phone camera and confronted the driver of the pickup truck after stopping them.

Motorcycle rider Ü.B. stated, "I suddenly saw a dog being taken away while tied with a rope to the back of a pickup truck in front of me. I stopped the driver. I asked why they were doing it, and they gave me the answer, 'it won't go to the herd.' I want this person to receive the necessary punishment. The license plate is clearly visible in the footage; our police will do what is necessary."

A press release was issued by the Amasya Governor's Office regarding the incident in question. The statement indicated that the suspect who carried out the act had been apprehended and that the necessary administrative sanctions would be applied.
