Dolce & Gabbana designs perfume specifically for dogs: $108

Known for its innovative steps in the fashion world, the Dolce & Gabbana brand has this time produced a perfume not for humans, but for pets.

Inspired by the love company co-founder Domenico Dolce has for his dog, the perfume aims to add a touch of luxury to dogs' grooming routines.

According to a report on pazarlamasyon.com, Dolce & Gabbana, seeking to address concerns regarding the safety of Fefé, which is on sale for $108, has obtained Safe Pet Cosmetics certification and veterinary approval for the product.

'THE SCENT LASTS ALL DAY ON DOGS'

The company stated that 90 percent of those who tested it reported that the scent lasted all day on their dogs.

However, the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA) has expressed serious concerns regarding this new product. An RSPCA spokesperson told The Guardian that artificial scents could affect dogs' sensory experiences and, because dogs rely heavily on their noses, could negatively impact their ability to communicate and navigate the world.

The society also warned that the tendency of pet owners to humanize animals and use products originally designed for humans may not be in the animals' best interests.
