Who won the repeated elections? Ban expected to be lifted

The Supreme Election Council (YSK) has concluded voting in 3 districts and 4 towns where it decided to repeat local elections.

Following the YSK's decision, local elections were repeated in the Pınarbaşı district of Kayseri, the Hilvan district of Şanlıurfa, the Güzelyurt district of Aksaray, as well as the towns of Sivas Yıldızeli-Güneykaya, Kırklareli Lüleburgaz-Büyükkarıştıran, Tunceli Mazgirt-Akpazar, and Aksaray Merkez-Sağlık. The local elections, which began at 08:00 in these settlements with a total of 58 thousand 259 registered voters, were completed at 17:00, and the vote-counting process has begun.

According to the YSK's decision, no broadcasts regarding election results will be allowed before 21:00. However, the YSK may move this time forward.

BALLOT BOXES ESTABLISHED AT 312 LOCATIONS

The locations where the YSK established ballot boxes and the number of voters are as follows:

Kayseri-Pınarbaşı: Number of ballot boxes 141 – number of voters 18 thousand 960 people

Şanlıurfa-Hilvan: Number of ballot boxes 124 – number of voters 27 thousand 686 people

Aksaray-Güzelyurt: Number of ballot boxes 9 – number of voters 2 thousand 32 people

Sivas Yıldızeli-Güneykaya: Number of ballot boxes 5 – number of voters 1 thousand 147 people

Kırklareli Lüleburgaz-Büyükkarıştıran: Number of ballot boxes 16 – number of voters 4 thousand 950 people

Tunceli Mazgirt-Akpazar: Number of ballot boxes 10 – number of voters 1 thousand 700 people

Aksaray Merkez-Sağlık: Number of ballot boxes 7 – number of voters 1 thousand 784 people

Kayseri-Pınarbaşı: IYI Party, Great Unity Party (BBP), New Welfare Party (Yeniden Refah), Victory Party (Zafer), Independent Turkey Party (BTP), CHP, National Path Party (Milli Yol), MHP, DEVA Party, and Felicity Party (Saadet). BBP Pınarbaşı Mayoral candidate Hayrettin Uslu withdrew from the candidacy and decided to support the MHP candidate Menduh Uzunluoğlu.
