The Competition Authority has announced that Google will be subject to a daily fine of 0.05 percent of its daily revenue until it fulfills certain obligations it has failed to meet.

In the statement made by the institution, it was stated that Google did not fulfill the obligations brought in line with the "local search services" decision regarding hotel queries.

The statement said, "It has been decided to impose an administrative fine of 0.05 percent of its 2023 gross revenue for each day, starting from April 15 and continuing until these obligations are fulfilled."
