Selçuk Ecza Deposu has issued a statement to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) regarding news reports that emerged following the decisions included in the October 27 bulletin of the Capital Markets Board (CMB).
The company recalled that the CMB bulletin announced decisions to file criminal complaints against certain individuals and to impose trading bans on the relevant persons and institutions due to transactions carried out in the equity market. However, Selçuk Ecza stated that these decisions were not directed at the company's legal entity, its board members, executives, or employees.
The KAP notification emphasized that there are no criminal complaints or sanction decisions taken against the company, its board members, executives, or employees in the CMB bulletin.
The CMB had previously taken decisions related to irregular transactions carried out in the shares of Pasifik Eurasia Lojistik, Selçuk Ecza Deposu, and Manas Enerji. Within the scope of the Board's decisions, it was decided to impose a 2-year trading ban on the individuals against whom criminal complaints were filed and to cancel all licenses they hold in the capital markets.
Selçuk Ecza's statement aimed to address public questions regarding whether the aforementioned CMB decisions contained any direct sanctions against the company and its management.
