Exit requests at Tera Portföy reach 300 billion TL: Payments halted
Tera Portföy announced that while redemptions were paid for some funds, the process was halted due to restrictions and blocks placed on its Takasbank account on September 18.
Tera Portföy Yönetimi A.Ş. has issued a statement to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) regarding redemption requests and payment processes for its funds. The company reported that redemption instructions submitted during the period when fund inflows were being converted into investments intensified in a short time, and the total exit request reached approximately 300 billion liras.
The statement noted that the cash requirement needed to meet these requests was being managed in conjunction with the process of converting assets in the fund portfolios into cash.
It was recorded that payments regarding investor sell orders were made for certain funds that remained outside the scope of liquidation in accordance with the Capital Markets Board (SPK) decision. It was announced that payments for redemption instructions given for the Tera Portföy First Debt Instruments (TL) Fund (TRJ), Tera Portföy Fund of Funds (FSU), Tera Portföy Second Free (Foreign Currency) Fund (TMM), and Tera Portföy Participation Free (Foreign Currency) Fund (TRU) were carried out on September 16, 17, and 18, 2026.
The company announced that it could not continue payments to investors due to transaction restrictions and blocks placed on its account at Takasbank on September 18, 2026. It was recalled that the process regarding the funds under liquidation was decided to be carried out within the framework of the principles determined by the SPK and by the authorized Türkiye İş Bankası A.Ş.
Tera Portföy stated that its senior management and executive teams are at their posts and that the process is being followed up with the relevant institutions. In the company statement, investors were asked to monitor company announcements, SPK statements, and KAP notifications of the relevant funds for up-to-date information.
The statement expressed regret over the difficulties and concerns experienced by investors, noting that efforts are being made to conclude the process as soon as possible while safeguarding investor rights.
