Largest single fuel price hike in history: The biggest in the history of the Republic
The rise in Brent crude oil prices has been reflected as a major hike in diesel and gasoline prices.
Rising tensions between Iran and Israel have caused Brent crude oil prices to climb to 78 dollars.
Following these developments, significant increases occurred in fuel prices.
The price of a liter of diesel increased by 3.30 TL, and the price of a liter of gasoline increased by 1.51 TL.
These hikes have been recorded as the largest single increase in the fuel group, excluding SCT (Special Consumption Tax) adjustments.
Fluctuations in oil prices are leading to high price hikes being passed on to consumers.
