Number of registered vehicles in Muğla reaches 787,183

According to the July motor land vehicle data from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), the total number of vehicles registered in Muğla has reached 787,183.

Motorcycles make up the largest portion of the vehicle fleet in the city, with 321,124 units. According to the data, there are 291,550 automobiles, 99,425 light trucks, 43,798 tractors, 13,054 trucks, 11,297 minibuses, 4,172 buses, and 2,763 special-purpose vehicles registered in Muğla.

In July, a total of 4,177 motor land vehicles were registered in Muğla. Motorcycles ranked first in new registrations with 2,807 units, followed by 943 automobiles and 303 light trucks. During the same period, 60 tractors, 34 trucks, 19 minibuses, 6 buses, and 5 special-purpose vehicles were also registered.

According to TUIK data, 15,343 vehicle transfers were carried out in Muğla during the same month. Automobiles ranked first in transfer transactions with 7,937 units. Automobiles were followed by 4,362 motorcycles, 2,118 light trucks, and 413 tractors.

The July data revealed the significant weight of motorcycles and automobiles in both new registrations and vehicle transfers in Muğla.
