High school placement results are now available

The results of the 2026 High School Transition System (LGS) central exam, organized by the Ministry of National Education, were announced today and made available for access. Students can check their exam scores on the official website of the Ministry of National Education using their identification numbers. For eighth-grade students who have reached their results after an intense wait, the next step is high school preferences.

Millions of candidates who want to complete the transition process from secondary education to high school by participating in the LGS will decide which schools to apply to after learning their scores. According to the 2026 placement calendar, preferences will begin on July 13 and continue until July 24. During this period, private schools will also accept their own registrations simultaneously.

Candidates who wish to access their exam results can reach their information by entering their Turkish ID number, date of birth, and security code through the Ministry of National Education's Result Announcement System, main webpage, e-Government, or e-School platforms. All application and placement details are made available to students in just a few minutes.

Tables showing vacant quotas, which are of critical importance in the transition to high schools, were also published along with the results. Candidates are preparing to make the most suitable high school choice for themselves by examining these tables. Placement results will be announced on August 5. A two-stage transfer process will also be implemented for candidates who could not be placed or in cases where there are changes in quotas.
