According to the latest assessments made by the General Directorate of Meteorology: The country overall is expected to be partly to very cloudy, with showers and thunderstorms expected in the Taurus Mountains region of the Eastern Mediterranean, the coasts of the Central Black Sea, the Eastern Black Sea, the northeast of Eastern Anatolia, the surroundings of Bolu, Ankara, Çankırı, and Kırıkkale, the east of Tekirdağ and Kırklareli, and the northern parts of Istanbul. Rainfall is expected to be locally heavy in the eastern districts of Rize and the northern districts of Artvin. Haze and occasional fog are expected in the morning hours in the east of Marmara, the interior of the Aegean, the interior of the Mediterranean, Central Anatolia, and the interior of the Black Sea region.

It is estimated that there will be no significant change in air temperatures, and they will hover around seasonal norms across the country.

The wind is expected to blow from the north, and from the south in the eastern regions, at light to occasionally moderate strength.

In the Meteorology report, a yellow-coded warning was issued for Rize and Artvin.
