İSKİ announces occupancy rates for Istanbul dams
According to İSKİ data, the occupancy rate of the dams supplying water to Istanbul has reached 81.35 percent. The average occupancy rate of the dams in the mega-city was measured at 81.56 percent yesterday.
According to the Istanbul Water and Sewerage Administration (İSKİ) data, the average occupancy rate of the dams in the mega-city was measured at 81.56 percent.
The occupancy rate of the dams supporting Istanbul had dropped to as low as 16.18 percent on November 11, 2023.
The occupancy rate in the dams is now 81.35 percent.
The highest water level in the dams was recorded at the Ömerli Dam with 93.14 percent, while the lowest water level was at the Istrancalar Dam with 38.54 percent.
According to İSKİ data, as of May 22, the dam occupancy rates in Istanbul are as follows:
- Alibey Dam 54.28 percent
- Büyükçekmece Dam 75.84 percent
- Darlık Dam 79.11 percent
- Istrancalar Dam 38.54 percent
- Kazandere Dam 78.59 percent
- Elmalı Dam 84.56 percent
- Ömerli Dam 93.14 percent
- Pabuçdere Dam 77.75 percent
- Sazlıdere Dam 61.57 percent
- Terkos Dam 90.34 percent
