Meteorology announces: Temperatures high across the country, showers in some regions
According to the latest assessments by the General Directorate of Meteorology, air temperatures across the country will continue to hover 1-3 degrees above seasonal norms. While temperatures are expected to reach 29 degrees in Istanbul, 31 in Ankara, and 33 in Izmir, sunny weather will prevail in most of the country. Local showers and thunderstorms are expected in the inner and eastern parts of the Eastern Black Sea region, the northeast of Eastern Anatolia, the surroundings of Van, and the northern and eastern parts of Adana.
According to the latest assessments made by the General Directorate of Meteorology: It is estimated that the northeastern parts of the country will be partly to, at times, very cloudy, with showers and thunderstorms expected in the inner and eastern parts of the Eastern Black Sea region, the northeast of Eastern Anatolia, the surroundings of Van, and the northern and eastern parts of Adana, while other areas are expected to be mostly clear and sunny.
It is estimated that there will be no significant change in air temperatures, and they will generally hover 1-3 degrees above seasonal norms.
The wind is expected to blow from the north generally, and from the south and southwest in the Mediterranean coasts and the southeastern parts of the country, light to occasionally moderate.
