Due to public employees being on leave for May 1st Labor Day, roads in Istanbul remained empty. The empty roads were captured from the air.
On May 1st Labor Day in Istanbul, contrary to the usual traffic congestion, the roads remained empty.
Due to the rainy and overcast weather in Istanbul, residents spent the holiday at home, leading to a decrease in traffic density on the D-100 highway on the Anatolian side.
According to the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality traffic density map, traffic congestion was measured at 27 percent at 10:30 AM.
Meanwhile, the empty roads were captured from the air.
