According to the forecasts made by the General Directorate of Meteorology: The country is expected to be partly to very cloudy, with precipitation expected in the south and east of the Marmara region, the Aegean, the Mediterranean, Central Anatolia, the Western Black Sea, and the surroundings of Tekirdağ, Çorum, Tokat, Gaziantep, Adıyaman, and Kilis. The precipitation is expected to be in the form of rain and showers in the west of Marmara, the coastal Aegean, and the Mediterranean coasts; thunderstorms on the southern Aegean coasts; and sleet and snow in the interior and higher elevations. Precipitation is expected to be heavy on the southern Aegean coasts, the east of Antalya, and the west of Mersin. Icing and frost are expected in the northern, interior, and eastern parts, along with mist and occasional fog.

Air temperatures are expected to rise slightly in the western and interior parts due to southerly winds, with no significant change elsewhere, and are expected to remain below seasonal norms across the country.

The wind is expected to blow generally from the south and west, light to occasionally moderate; it will be strong (40-60 km/h) in the Marmara, Black Sea, coastal Aegean, and eastern Central Anatolia regions, and occasionally reach short-term storm levels (60-80 km/h) in the higher elevations of the Central and Eastern Black Sea regions.

In the MGM report, a yellow code warning was issued for Aydın and Muğla.

MARMARA

Partly to very cloudy, with showers expected in the south and east and the surroundings of Tekirdağ in the afternoon, and sleet and snow expected in the higher elevations of the east after the evening hours. The wind is expected to blow strongly (40-60 km/h) from the south and southwest.
