Parked electric vehicle engulfed in flames
In the Dalaman district of Muğla, a fire that broke out in a parked electric vehicle was extinguished before it could spread, thanks to a rapid intervention by firefighters who used a fire blanket. Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident.
According to the information obtained, citizens who saw flames rising from a parked electric vehicle in the Dalaman district immediately reported the situation to the 112 emergency call center, prompting the dispatch of fire crews to the area.
The teams, who arrived at the scene in a short time, used the fire blanket method, which is of critical importance in electric vehicle fires. Thanks to the professional and meticulous intervention of the teams, the flames were brought under control and extinguished before they could spread to the surroundings.
While the vehicle sustained material damage following the fire, it was a source of relief that there was no loss of life or injury in the incident. An investigation has been launched into the cause of the fire.
