'Çağdaş Hekimler' wins Ankara Medical Chamber elections

With the 76th Grand Congress of the Turkish Medical Association (TTB), scheduled for the end of June, fast approaching, the ordinary general assembly elections for medical chambers continue across 65 provinces.

The new administration of the Ankara Medical Chamber has been determined. In the election held at the Ankara University Faculty of Medicine Morphology Building, the Çağdaş Hekimler group participated with the slogan “For a contemporary, democratic, secular, and participatory medical chamber,” while the Beyaz Önlük Dayanışması (White Coat Solidarity) participated with the slogan “For medicine, for physicians, for the Ankara Medical Chamber, we are here.”

In the election contested by the two groups, Çağdaş Hekimler received 1810 block votes, while Beyaz Önlük Dayanışması received 1561 block votes.

Accordingly, the Çağdaş Hekimler group won the election by a margin of 249 block votes.
