"A red notice has been issued for Umut Altaş. We are currently in contact with US authorities. We have conveyed the sensitivity and importance of the file to the officials of the relevant country in the clearest way possible. We are following the process meticulously."

Minister Gürlek also stated that the testimony of Umut Altaş is of great importance for shedding light on the incident. Pointing out that he is the person with the most information regarding the disappearance of Gülistan Doku, he said, "In my opinion, Umut Altaş is the person who will solve the case. Because he is the closest witness to the event."
