The TV series Kızıl Goncalar has been issued a two-episode broadcast suspension and an administrative fine by the Radio and Television Supreme Council (RTÜK).

According to the report by journalist Birsen Altuntaş, the RTÜK penalty has been notified to the channel. It has been learned that the fine imposed by RTÜK is 9 million lira.

APPLICATION MADE TO COURT

Both FOX TV and the production company have applied to the court against the penalties imposed on the series.

If a "stay of execution" decision is not obtained from the court by next Monday, the 3rd episode of "Kızıl Goncalar," scheduled for January 8 after the New Year's holiday, will not be aired.

DOCUMENTARIES TO BE AIRED

Documentaries sent by RTÜK will be aired that evening and the following week.

'THEY DECLARED WAR ON US'

Faruk Turgut, the producer of Kızıl Goncalar, spoke to Arif Hür from 12punto about the series, which has been a subject of public debate.

Turgut said, "They declared war on us, but we will fight to the end. These obstructions will cause me a loss of 10 million TL, but health comes first. We will find new locations like lions."
