Decision reached in complaint by Ülkü Hilal Çiftçi's father

The prosecutor's office has reached a decision in the legal process between actress Ülkü Hilal Çiftçi and her father, Ünal Çiftçi. The applications made by Ünal Çiftçi, alleging that his 17-year-old daughter was employed in projects without the consent of her parents and that she was in a relationship with actor Hakan Çelebi, who is older than her, were evaluated by the Anatolian Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.

According to the report by Sabah, the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office concluded that there was insufficient evidence to initiate a prosecution regarding the allegations in light of the statements and available information in the case file. In this context, a decision of non-prosecution was issued for two separate files.

ÇİFTÇİ DENIED THE ALLEGATIONS

It was stated that Ülkü Hilal Çiftçi, who gave a statement within the scope of the investigation, said that she has been acting for approximately 12 years and that production companies do not proceed with the process without the necessary permits for the projects she is involved in. It was reported that the young actress stated that she has the permits and documents regarding her work.

It was noted that Çiftçi stated that her parents are in the process of divorce and that she believes her father filed the criminal complaint due to this process. The actress also declared that she was not subjected to mistreatment or mobbing in her projects and that she did not take part in any role containing obscenity.

It was learned that Çiftçi, who also denied the allegations regarding Hakan Çelebi, said that Çelebi is only a close friend and that her father also knows him.

In the prosecutor's decision, it was stated that the allegation of being employed without family consent could be evaluated within the scope of labor law rather than a criminal investigation. It was emphasized that there is no crime or element of a crime that should be pursued by the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office in the current situation.

The file also examined the "slander" complaint filed by the management agency against Ünal Çiftçi. Pointing out that for the crime of slander to occur, a person must attribute a crime to another person while knowing that they did not commit it, the prosecutor's office assessed that there was insufficient evidence in this regard.

The decision also recalled that the right of individuals to file complaints and reports is guaranteed by the Constitution. With this assessment, a decision of non-prosecution was also issued regarding the complaint filed against Ünal Çiftçi.
